Interior work is focused on bringing the building up to code standards, restoring interiors, and adding ADA-compliant facilities The City Hall Annex, originally named the Domestic Science and Manual Training School, was built in 1901 and dedicated in 1902. It is the oldest school building in the area and is one of the oldest standing buildings in St. Petersburg. It was built for $10,000 , and given to the City of St. Petersburg as a gift, free and clear, from E. H. Tomlinson, a local philanthropist. The school, which has been in continual use for the last 97 years. Recently the city's Neighborhood Partnership and Neighborhood Services offices moved into the building. |
