Services Provided/Benefit to State: |
Currently, consumers/clients are referred to the most costly providers of care, crisis stabilization, emergency rooms, or even jail. Referrals to outpatient care can take several days or months; during which time the client's mental health may deteriorate. This center will provide immediate assessment and medical intervention, at a lower cost. |
