||
|
Renovation of existing health center sites to meet increased patient demand and safety standards. Includes three projects. Project 1 is Mother & Child Care of Clearwater; an addition of 760 square feet to provide private interview area for patients ($111,537). Project 2 is Johnnie Ruth Clarke Health Center; renovations include HVAC system, new emergency generator, stairwell lighting, upgraded electrical system, new flooring ($194,054). Project 3 is an upgrading of the computer systems at all Community Health Centers of Pinellas sites ($222,965). |

These health centers currently provide about 5,000 patient encounters per month, and deliver about 1,200 babies per year. Demand for services for the uninsured continues to increase; these projects will help the three centers meet those increasing demands. |
