Project Description: |

|
Development and construction of one over/underpass for each side of the Friendship Trail Bridge, which connects Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties' recreational trail systems. This bridge was the old Gandy Bridge, which was acquired by the county governments from FDOT a couple of years ago. This bridge is now solely for pedestrian and bicycle use. Services Provided/Benefit to State: |

Will provide a safe on/off ramp to the bridge for tail users. This area (State Road 92) has a substantial amount of vehicle traffic; providing a safer way to use the bridge should alleviate any congestion problems that might result when bikes and pedestrians want to gain access to the bridge. |
