Project Description:
Expansion and renovation of the emergency room and out-patient facility at Jay Hospital in northern Santa Rosa County.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
To provide immediate, rural health care and improve access for a growing underserved population. In the areas of emergency and diagnostic services there are currently limitations due to space and geographical constraints.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Service of approximately 25,000 cases for 2001. In 1979, there were 3,641 cases served and in 1998 there were 18,454 cases.
