Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Construct Dormitory and child care center for women's substance abuse program previously funded by federal grant.  This is Welfare Reform at work.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

72% of graduates are drug-free at 1 year.  150 babies have been drug-free in the program (100%), 450 children united with mothers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

In the 10-year history of the program, savings to the taxpayers have totalled $14,000,000.
