This will build and furnish a 10,000 square foot state headquarters with a program training and education center for potential participants in the Special Olympics. |

Services Provided/Benefit to State: |

|
This facility will provide a year-round sport training facility and allow for athletic competition in a variety of olympic type sports for individuals with mental retardation and other needs. Special Olympics, Florida is a member of the Unified Sports Program and this facility will also serve athletes training for Olympic-type events. The State will be providing yet another set of activities to improve the health and wuality of life for all the participants in these activities. |
