|
Cluster Springs is a predominantly rural, farming community. Due to its remoteness, there is a need for a facility for continuing agribusiness education and farming techniques. The facility would also provide opportunities for Extension Service and 4-H Clubs to hold events/training activities benefitting the entire community, particularly youth who now must travel to other counties to participate in these type programs. The site is a 60-acre tract owned by Walton County. It will provide a greenway hub for horseback riders. The facility will also be used to house farm animals during hurricanes and severe storms. |
