Project Description:
Independent scientific review of data regarding the scientific, economic, and environmental feasibility of Tampa Bay Water's Cone Ranch and Dispersed Well Project.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Selection and retention of scientists with appropriate disciplines to achieve an independent scientific review of the the Cone Ranch and Dispersed Well Project. An independent review of the data will ensure protection of precious state water and environmental resources from contamination and degradation from unsound scientific reasoning and interpolation. The state would benefit from avoiding or reducing massive, permanent contamination.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Increased measure of protection/greater assurance of the protection of water resources through the independent scientific review that would occur. Increased protection will ensure that water resources are available in the future and that the environment is protected to the greatest extent possible. There is an expectation of avoiding or reducing massive, future contamination that is permanent.
