To construct a multi-use recreational park on county-owned property. The park site will include a children's playground, amphitheater, softball fields, skating area, basketball courts, tennis courts, rqcquetball and handball courts, batting cages and excercise trails. There will also be a large pavilion and several picnic shelters, plus two restrooms facilities. The YMCA will be constructing a gymnasium on a portion of the property and there will be three YMCA soccer fields. |

This park will provide residents of Walton County and surrounding counties with a multi-use recreational park. This park will provide activities for all ages. It will be accessible for tourists who desire to picnic. Establishment of this park would be in keeping with state goals of providing adequate recreational facilities for its citizens. |
