Project Description:
renourish seven miles of beachs (including several areas of County and State Parks) critically eroded during significant storm events (especially Hurricane Georges). Reestablishing 75' of beach that has been lost.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Beach restoration of major public beaches. Increased tax collection due to increased tourism.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Sand on beach. Increased tax revenues compared to area without useable beach.
