We are requesting $150,000 of 5.7% of the $2.6 million budgeted for this project. This is all for construction, such as narrowing Pineapple Grove Way, widening sidewalks, pavers, walks, curbing, landscaping, antique street lighting, foundations, informational kiosks, obelisques and murals. Artwalk will be an outdoor gallery of the visual arts scattered throughout 65+ acres comprising the Pineapple Grove District. |

The Artwalk outdoor gallery will attract tourists, provide educational opportunities for senior citizens and school age children, provide job opportunities in the areas of maintenance, clerical, administrative, teaching and security, as well as additional opportunties in retailing, restaurants and entertainment. |
