Project Description:
There is no shelter space for Glades County residents. This shelter will serve as an emergency shelter and local meeting area.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
During Hurricane Andrew all shelter space was occupied due to evacuations from South Florida and the West Coast of FL. Therefore this shelter would help save lives
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
State DCA Emergency Management Shelter space will increase
