Suwannee County is requesting funds for completion of the Suwannee County Fairground Riding Arena. These dollars will allow completion of the roof, seating, and wiring for the facility. |

This facility serves 4-H Clubs, livestock show, high school rodeos, and provides facilities for training sessions for the mounted posse. This facility servces as a multi-purpose facility for agriculture and community events in Suwannee County as well as surrounding counties. |

|
The Suwannee County Mounted Posse is very involved with the youth in this North Florida Area and provide rodeo events that give them the opportunity to work these young people. It will provide a facility to train surrounding counties' mounted posses in rescue operations. The posse is a tremendous asset to Suwannee County as well as to nearby counties in search and rescue. |
