Project Description:
A pilot project to purchase and install computer hardware and software to develop a computer network among community health centers in Broward, Collier, and Palm Beach Counties.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
To produce significant cost savings through coordinated purchasing, recordkeeping, and data collection on patient outcomes; included in supplemental budget for Dept. of Health.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
To result in significant cost saving efficiencies in provision of primary care health services to uninsured and Medicaid patients in a large region of Florida.
