Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Construct a building to house the Orange Hill Volunteer Fire Department and serve also as a voting precinct, EMS substation, community center, farmers' market, club meeting facility, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

Improve fire protection for residents and reduce homeowner insurance rates. Also, to provide a focal point for community events/activities and serve as a permanent voting precinct (currently voting sites changes election to election. Also, plan for EMS to be housed in the building.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Improved ISO fire insurance ratings. Permanent voting precinct. Improved emergency ambulance service to area residents.
