Services Provided/Benefit to State: |
(This project is in the Governor's designated Area of Economic Critical Concern). Protect evacuation route for residents which means county would have less need for state to take over road. This road has a history of washing out and has been part of a successful federal test program, but continues to wash out due to the location of the road and the erosion patterns of the beach, which is immediately adjacent to road in several places. |
