Project Description:
Expansion of the current facility. The Plant City facility, which opened 6 years ago, no longer has the capacity to meet the needs of the underserved in the community.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Primary health care, including dental services, to all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Improved health outcomes, proper management of chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes and heart disease. Timely immunizations, health screenings and other preventive measures to avoid more serious long-term illnesses in both the adult and child populations.
