To continue funding of pilot project funded by the 1999 Legislature AND implement a Termination of Parentsl Rights (TPR) Unit. |

Services Provided/Benefit to State: |

|
The pilot project addresses the needs for effective child representation for children currently mandated to receive guardian ad litem representation. In addition 100% of the 200 children anticipated to go through contested TPR cases in 2000 will receive the necessary advocacy and legal assistance they will need. The State benefits by having these children represented and protected as mandated in Chapter 39. |
