Project Description:
To increase workforce development services to people with disabilities. This request is for an additional $10,000,000 to be added to the $20,556,859 currently in the Governor's Budget.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Those services currently provided will be either enhanced to current recipients or expanded to cover individuals not now being served. The State benefits by having people with disabilities able to work and stay in the community.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
An increase in the number of people with disabilities getting employment, as well as a reduction in other services needed by this population.
