Project Description:
A scientific validated detector dog training & certification program will be implemented statewide primarily for narcotics detector dogs but also including explosives, accelerants and other detector dogs across the State.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
In addition to published guidelines and hosted seminars, this program will provide improved narcotics interdiction with refined detector dog teams and improve courtroom defensibilty by providing a sound scientific base.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Improved detector dog teams and improved courtroom defensibility alerts.
