Provide congregate and home delivered meals to elderly residents of Miami-Dade County who, due to budgetary cutbacks in our Older Americans Act, will lose access to their meals. |

Services Provided/Benefit to State: |

|
12,600 Home delivered meals units and 85, 680 congregate meal units to 390 unduplicated clinets.Self Care and the reduction and delay in nursing home placement and prevention of acute episodes benefits the state by reducing overall costs of nursing home placement and costlier forms of home and community based long term care. |
