The research project is to identify those programs produced by other states that are effective, fiscally sound, and well managed that serve the mentally disadvantaged. |

Services Provided/Benefit to State: |

|
|
||||
|
This project will identify those programs which are viable for use by the State of Florida through the Statewide Office of Public Guardianship. The identification of these programs would allow a base for the development of services for persons who are either medicaid eligible and/or medicare eligible for delivery of guardianship services. This would insure that mentally disadvantaged Floridians would be provided with guardianship services that have already been proven to be successful in other states. |
