In order to maintain its affiliation with the Smithsonian Institution, the San Carlos needs to hire a professional curator and museum staff and upgrade its operations to Smithsonian standards. The San Carlos also seeks to produce a 20-minute documentary that will introduce visitors to its history and trace the steps of Florida's Cuban-American community. |
