The project is the continuing enhancements to the major sports complex in Oldsmar. |

Services Provided/Benefit to State: |

It would be of significant benefit to the state in realizing its goal of providing adequate and diverse recreational opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages. The sports complex already consists of baseball fields, soccer field, football field, picnic facilities and a children's playground. All of these amenities provide acitivity-based recreation in the City of Oldsmar, as well as the County and State. |

This phase of the Canal Park Sports Complex will continue to bring organized sports into the City of Oldsmar to provide a balanced system of a safe and enjoyable structured recreational facility in Oldmar's parks and recreation plan in addition to the surrounding area. With these improvements provided for the park, it will become a recreational area for not only the citizens of Oldsmar but the County and visitors to Florida. |
