Project Description:
While the Okeechobee County Courthouse is historic it must have expansion and additional security in order to keep the state court system safe and secure. This old (1925)facility must also be adapted to meet the ADA rules and requirements. Additional space is a requirement in order to operate the State Court system
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
The present Court System operates from this Courthouse and this project will not only provide additional space that is required but also for new and additional security and handicapped accessibility

Comply with ADA; provide better security; add courtroom space.
