The mobile museum concept was designed to enhance and reinforce what is learned in the classroom, especially in the area of science where so many students seem to lack adequate skills. With passage of increased academic demands, including expansion of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test to include a mandatory science component (Governor's A+ Plan), the mobile museum concept will provide some needed assistance and a hands-on educational experience that will help Florida's students and teachers meet the increasing demands of Florida's results-oriented approach to education. |
