Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This project supports the efforts of the City's Brownfields Economic Redevelopment Program, which include identification of Brownfields in the City, establish a Geographical Inventory System (GIS), identify pilot project sites, perform preliminary Environmental Site Assessment, identify the sources for clean-up and incentives for developers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

This project will promote the state and federal objectives of appropriate and effective use of land (greenfields) in the inner cities and discourages urban sprawl.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Increased men and goods movement, more police surveillance, more safer neighborhood, new buinesses, employment opportunities and tax incentives for the residents and the City.
