Make improvements to the Baker County Agricultural Center, which would include the renovation and expansion of the auditorium area to its original 6000 sq. feet, including kitchen and bathroom facilities; aphalt pave and fence 19,000 sq. feet of parking area adjoining the auditorium, and renovate interior offices to include classroom space for 4-H educational programs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

The Baker County Agricultural Center will be a greater asset to agricultural and youth serving organizations.  The renovation of the Auditorium to the original 6000 sq. feet will provide desperately needed space for local programs and activities.  In addition, the remodeling will provide ADA approved bathroom facilities and increased classroom and parking space.  The complex would be expected to be utilized on a daily basis with over 250 functions during the year.  The facility would also be utilized for multi-county Extension educational workshops and seminars, school district activities, and a F.E.M.A. emergency staging area.
