CR 2301 is a collector road that also serves as a direct feeder between CR 388 and US 231 (SR 75). The area served by this collector has experienced tremendous growth. As a connector between CR 388 and US 231 the road serves as a truck route for agriculture and timbering activities. The road was last repaired by resurfacing in the early 1970's.
