The "Bigs in Schools" statewide mentoring program funded by the Department of Education is a school based One to One customized mentoring program that provides a coordinated, professionally managed mentoring effort in 14 counties throughout the State of Florida and has reached over 1600 school age children over the last two years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

87% of mentored children improved thier grades. 92% improved thier attendance at school. 97% improved thier behavior in school. 92% were promoted to the next grade level.  These numberes are verified by Big Brothers Big Sister Association of Florida in conjunction with the local school systems throughout the state.  These numbers are also audited and certified by an accounting firm.
