Project Description:

The Advanced Standing Program is a twelve month program that prepares students in the pursuit of an Associate's degree.  In comparison to a typical eighteen month Associate Degree Program, the Advanced Standing Program offers the CETARY (Culinary Education and Training for at Risk Youth) a twenty six degree transfer credit based on the nine month CETARY Program that they have just completed.  This thereby accelerates the program duration for the CETARY students.  The Advanced Standing Program provides middle management job opportunities for its graduates (Johnson & Wales University has a 98% job placement rate).  Both the state and federal government have supported CETARY.
