Alternatives to Incarceration through its services provides offenders, the criminal justice system and taxpayers with a reasonable and acceptable alternative to incarcerating every person who breaks the law. The Alternative Programs, Inc. is proposing a program of services that provides the criminal justice system with viable means to alleviate overcrowding in our jails and save taxpayers money. There are seven programmatic areas of service. They are court appearances,custody releases, warrants, monetary restitution, community service, counselling and support services, and refferrals to community service agencies.

To divert non-violent offenders away from prison into making restitution and to make 6,730 contacts annually.
