|
The project will produce a financially viable plan and construction drawings for an automated system to move passengers and their baggage between the airport, seaport and convention center, and possibly adjoining cities. This multi-modal project could potentially benefit over 14 million airport passengers, provide over 3 million cruise ship passenger trips, and serve an untold number of travelers connecting to neighboring city transit systems. The project, located in the legislative Districts of Senator Steven Geller and Representative Tim Ryan, offers statewide benefit. It epitomizes the TOP Advisory Council's very mission, which is to enhance Florida's economic growth and competitiveness and improve travel choices to ensure mobility. |
