Project Description:
Design and construct bridge and road bed in an effort to ensure involvement for an emergency exit/entrance into Crawfish Island where 38 families reside. The project will be coordinated to coincide with the residents needs. The community will be involved in planning, implementation and evaluation of this project. The primary objective of an Emergency Entrance/Exit is to develop an choice of emergency services to support children and families needs in Crawfish Island. The project is defined based on the entire population interest including those who safety is at risk in the Crawfish Island community.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Alleviate a serious public safety concern due to this area being cut off due to flooding or train derailment. The project involves the implementation of the access to emergency resources in the Crawfish Island Community. With the State of Florida appropriations, the community can supply several possible methods by which Crawfish Island can improve the safety for families and community support within the community.
