Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This program is an evolution of the Mothers and Infants Program and offers an expanded continum of care, and a stronger base of recovery.  First Step's Mothers and Infants Program will be the primary referral source to the program.  A 6-8 unit, six to nine month transitional living program to assist with employment, affordable housing, recovery and independent living responsibilities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Graduate 8-10 women every 12 months.  For women:  employment and/or education, recovery from drug or alcohol abuse, improve parenting skills, improve life management skills, housing referrals.  For children:  Increased participation in schools, abstinence, reduce involvement in juvenile justice system, improve social skills, improve relationships with family.
