Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SOS Schildrens Village is a licensed child caring agency providing care for up to 60 foster children, currently ranging from age 9 to 18, who are in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.  The uniqueness of SOS is its mission to provide a foster care placement which can be long term if indicated, specializing in siblings, and preparing the children for self sufficiency as young adults.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Dependent children will be provided a safe, loving, and nurturing home with preparation for independence at age of majority.  Additional goals for the development and care of the children will be in accord with the existing contractual terms with the Department of Children and Families District 10.
