The reduction in cesspits and increase in households connected to an approved and functioning wastewater treatment system is intended to reduce sewage pollution and produce measurable results in improving nearshore water quality in the Florida Keys. |

The project is to implement the recommendations of a Village stormwater master plan which is to design and construct stormwater systems where there are currently none. |
