|
At present there is a fixed route transit system from South Florida to Key Largo. The county has been successful in obtaining funding from the South Florida Employment and Training Council to extend the system to Marathon ($250,000 per year). It is proposed to provide an extension from Marathon to Key West to determine the long-term viability of such a transit system. |
