Project Description:
To serve as a statewide demonstration project to revitalize underserved and disinvested communities. Will serve as the hub of the wheel of the 33311 Community Building Initiative. Will strengthen and help actualize the holistic community revitalization goals of the Front Porch Initiative.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The outcome measures are to be developed. It is important to understand the Community Building Resource Center is not just a facility but also the hub of the wheel for the 33311 Building Initiative. As such, it will build the capacity of community residents to develop their children and improve the community by providing training in the following areas: advocacy training, leadership training, parent training, community organizing training, neighborhood governance, and technical skills training in areas such as data collection and analysis.
