¹240.5163  Certain rights of mine or quarry operators and dragline or heavy equipment operators preserved.--Nothing in ss. 240.516-240.5162 shall infringe upon the right of a legitimate mine or quarry operator to extract rock, gravel, fill, phosphate, or other minerals or infringe upon the right of a legitimate operator of draglines or similar heavy dredging, trenching, or digging equipment to construct drainage canals or other excavations because of the actual or potential destruction of vertebrate fossils.
