| Acquisition of a second highly significant parcel located on Gulf of Mexico in NW Pinellas contiguous to Wall Springs. The site consists of a great diversity of intact natural systems, including saltwater wetlands & globally impaired sanahill ecosystem. This is the last remaining xeric habitat of significant size and ecological condition in Pinellas County, & including mangrove forest & shallow saltwater fiats used by wading birds & serving as important fisheries nursing grounds, includes fiatroods with mature slash pines used by osprey and horned owls as nesting trees with significantly adverse recreation opportunities. | |||||||||
