As used herein, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them unless the context shall clearly indicate otherwise:(1) “Correctional system” means all prisons and other correctional institutions now existing or hereafter created under the jurisdiction of the department.
(2) “Department” means the Department of Corrections.
(3) “Secretary” means the Secretary of Corrections.
(4) “Reception center” means a temporary custodial institution for offenders committed to the department for classification and assignment to an appropriate institution in the correctional system.
