655.013  Effect on existing financial institutions.--The charters of state financial institutions existing at the time of the adoption of this act shall continue in full force and effect. However, all state financial institutions and, to the extent applicable, all financial institutions shall hereafter be operated in accordance with the provisions of the financial institutions codes.
