608.463  Service of process.--

(1)  Process against a limited liability company may be served:

(a)  In accordance with chapter 48 or chapter 49, as if the company were a partnership.

(b)  Upon the registered agent at the agent's street address.

(2)  Any notice to or demand on a company organized pursuant to this chapter may be made:

(a)  By delivery to a manager of the company, if the management of the limited liability company is vested in a manager, or by delivery to a member, if the management of the limited liability company is vested in the members.

(b)  By mailing a writing, which notice or demand in writing is mailed to the registered office of the company in this state or to another address in this state which is the principal office of the company.

(3)  Nothing contained in this section shall limit or affect the right to serve, in any other manner now or hereafter permitted by law, any process, notice, or demand required or permitted by law to be served upon a limited liability company.
