Duplicating Assistant (Office of the Clerk)
General Summary
This is work, under the direct supervision of the manager of the House print shop and duplicating office which supports the day-to-day operations of the House. An employee in a position allocated to this class is responsible for support of the team in duplicating, printing and documents and distribution.
Examples of Work Performed

Prepare projects for duplicating and printing.

Operates duplicating equipment. (Prisma Software,.PDF)

Operates a book binder, commercial folder, and paper cutter.

Works with the public in a main reception area to include greeting, taking orders, and filling requests.

Must be willing and able to work some late nights, weekends, and early mornings based on the demands of the office.

Uses basic computer skills to locate files, website material, and uploading documents.

Must be able to regularly lift and stack up to 50 pound boxes.

Must have a basic working knowledge of printing and duplicating equipment, their operation, maintenance or repair.

Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or its equivalent and two years of work experience including but not limited to clerical, service maintenance, carpentry, or security operations.
Salary
Annual salary $33,280
The Legislature offers a competitive benefits package.
This position is not eligible for remote work.
