Session OPS

General Summary

To prepare for the upcoming January 2024 Regular Legislative Session, the Senate is recruiting multiple OPS employees to support various general office and clerical positions. These positions serve in a temporary, time limited capacity. The hours per week will vary depending on assignment.

Individuals should anticipate starting employment in October 2023, and ending employment in March 2024.

Examples of Work Performed

Duties may include performing general clerical office duties, such as copying, filing, answering phones, and processing outgoing mail, to handling more complex work such as drafting and editing amendments and bills. Individuals may be assigned to perform their tasks under the direction of a supervisor or work independently researching, coordinating and assisting others in the preparation of Session.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or its equivalent, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and work experience.

Salary

$15.00 an hour.
