616.261  Finances of Florida State Fair.--

(1)  Operation of the Florida State Fair, and custody and maintenance of the buildings and grounds, shall be financed from the revenues derived from the state fair and other exhibits or events; revenue bonds; lease, rental, or other charges for the use of the buildings or grounds; and donations and other available sources of funds or revenues.

(2)  For the 1996-1997 fiscal year only, funds may be appropriated to the department for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Florida State Fair and the Florida State Fairgrounds. This subsection is repealed on July 1, 1997.
