Section 186.022, Florida Statutes 2000
186.022 Information resource strategic plans.--By June 1 of each year, the Geographic Information Board, the Financial Management Information Board, the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Systems Council, and the Health Information Systems Council shall each develop and submit an information resource strategic plan to the Executive Office of the Governor in a form and manner prescribed in written instructions prepared by the Executive Office of the Governor in consultation with the legislative appropriations committees. The Executive Office of the Governor shall review the strategic plan and may provide comments within 30 days. In its review, the Executive Office of the Governor shall consider all comments and findings of the Technology Review Workgroup as to whether the plan is consistent with the State Annual Report on Information Resources Management and statewide policies recommended by the State Technology Council. If revisions are required, boards and councils have 30 days to incorporate those revisions and return the plan to the Executive Office of the Governor.
